Hi, my name is Ryan Rodig and I am a sophmore here at UWM. I am from Green
Bay, the home of the Packers. I hope to major in Broadcast Journalism,
although I haven't decided whether I would like to be in radio or television
yet.
I was a very proud member of the Broadcast Club in our first year last year,
and am very glad I will be able to see the club grow as I work my way through
college. I was also lucky enough to host an edition of the Panther prowl last
year and it was a great experience.
I feel that the club is a great way to get its members experience in a number
of fields. After being selected as committee chair of Internet Programming, I
have found a a way to get something new off of the ground in the club. I am
very excited by the possibilities of doing announcing for numerous athletic
events in the coming years.
A dream job for me would either be as a sports anchor, having my own sports
radio show, or doing play by play for a Major League Baseball team. I look
forward to seeing the club grow more and more, and help everyone reach their
goals.
